Pinnacle Airlines Corp. - Chapter 11 Bankruptcy Petition - Headquarters

Headquarters

Pinnacle Airlines Corp. and subsidiary Pinnacle Airlines, Inc. have their headquarters in Memphis, Tennessee. As of October 2009 they were leasing a combined 86,838 square feet (8,067.5 m2) of space in the 1689 Nonconnah Boulevard building and the 1785 Nonconnah Boulevard building. The buildings are 3.47 miles (5.58 km) driving distance from the terminal at Memphis International Airport.

In 2010 Pinnacle Airlines Corp. considered moving its headquarters to Downtown Memphis and to Olive Branch, Mississippi in Greater Memphis, and the airline also considered keeping the headquarters in its current location. Pinnacle selected Downtown Memphis, and on October 8, 2010, the airline held a celebration for its decision to move into One Commerce Square in Downtown Memphis. The Center City Commission, the City of Memphis, and Shelby County gave out $10 million in incentives, including free parking, to convince Pinnacle to move to Downtown Memphis.

Famous quotes containing the word headquarters:

If the national security is involved, anything goes. There are no rules. There are people so lacking in roots about what is proper and what is improper that they don’t know there’s anything wrong in breaking into the headquarters of the opposition party.
    Helen Gahagan Douglas (1900–1980)

What does headquarters think these guys came over here for, a sewing circle? They go up playing for keeps. Cops and robbers with rocks in the snowballs. Brass knuckles and lead pipes and a roughneck conviction they can lick any man in the world.
    Dalton Trumbo (1905–1976)

Anything goes in Wichita. Leave your revolvers at police headquarters and get a check.
—For the State of Kansas, U.S. public relief program (1935-1943)
