Shortly a few months later after the film was released, the DVD and VHS of the film were released. The VHS contained a bonus commercial of Walt Disney World's Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh attraction, as well as the DVD, which contained more special features. The film was the only theatrical Pooh film presented in widescreen on VHS rather than the pan-and-scan full screen format, as the VHS release of Pooh's Heffalump Movie was presented in the pan-and-scan format. The Blu-ray DVD release of the film will be released in 2013, to coincide with the film's 10th anniversary.

Famous quotes containing the words home and/or media:
“As for pictures and museums, that don’t trouble me. The worst of going abroad is that you’ve always got to look at things of that sort. To have to do it at home would be beyond a joke.”
—Margaret Oliphant (1828–1897)
“The media have just buried the last yuppie, a pathetic creature who had not heard the news that the great pendulum of public conciousness has just swung from Greed to Compassion and from Tex-Mex to meatballs.”
—Barbara Ehrenreich (b. 1941)
