Phil Lewis is an English vocalist for the American glam metal band L.A. Guns, He was born on January 9, 1957 in London, England. Prior to joining L.A. Guns Lewis also worked with Girl (which also featured Def Leppard guitarist Phil Collen, except near the end of Girl), New Torpedos, and Tormé. While temporarily out of L.A. Guns, he sang for the bands Filthy Lucre and the Liberators.
Lewis is married to Junko Lewis.
He also guested on the Sheer Greed song "Everybody Wants" on their Sublime To The Ridiculous album.
He has a solo album, titled both El Niño and More Purple Than Black.
