Phil Clark (American Football)

Phil Clark (born April 28, 1945) is a former professional American football defensive back in the National Football League. He was born in Burlington, Kentucky. He played college football at Northwestern University. After being drafted with the 76nd overall pick in the third round of the 1967 NFL Draft by the Dallas Cowboys, Clark played for the Cowboys from 1967 to 1969, appearing in 37 games. In 1970 Clark played in 13 games for the Chicago Bears, and in his final season in 1971 he appeared in two games for the New England Patriots.
