Unlike the PC and DS versions, Petz Dogs 2 and Petz Cats 2 are actually movies, so instead of taking care of a virtual pet, the player plays as a dog or cat who lives in a village on a large island, and who goes on an adventure to stop an evil wolf from destroying the universe.
