Peter J. Tobin

Peter J. Tobin was born in 1943 in Queens, New York. He is an American businessman and philanthropist and is affiliated with the Republican Party. He has a wife Mary, a son Peter, and two daughters, Mary Ellen and Kristen. He graduated with his Bachelor’s of Business Administration at St. John’s University in 1965. Mr. Tobin was most recognized as the Chief Financial Officer of Chase Manhattan Bank and CFO of Chemical Bank from 1991 through 1996. In 1999, Peter J. Tobin donated a generous amount to St. John’s University, where the business school was renamed in his honor. He has lead several companies through many successful mergers and acquisitions and has had a very successful career.
