Famous quotes containing the words justice and/or dissent:
“I not deny
The jury, passing on the prisoners life,
May in the sworn twelve have a thief or two
Guiltier than him they try. Whats open made to justice,
That justice seizes.”
—William Shakespeare (15641616)
“Though dissenters seem to question everything in sight, they are actually bundles of dusty answers and never conceived a new question. What offends us most in the literature of dissent is the lack of hesitation and wonder.”
—Eric Hoffer (19021983)
