Perelman's Pocket Cyclopedia of Cigars

The Perelman's Pocket Cyclopedia of Cigars is an annually published and updated reference of cigar brands available in the U.S., (And as such, currently does not include information on Cuban Cigars (see: Cuban Embargo)), including specifications and information regarding each cigar, as well as basic cigar knowledge in general, such as wrapper colours and shapes and sizes. There is also an 'Almanac' section which includes a list of new brands and those that have been discontinued since the last edition, details about 'ancient' brands that are still in production, a list of unusual cigars (with multicoloured wrappers, for example), a list of the smallest and largest cigars available (by length and ring gauge), and more.

Famous quotes containing the words perelman, pocket, cyclopedia and/or cigars:

English life, while very pleasant, is rather bland. I expected kindness and gentility and I found it, but there is such a thing as too much couth.
    —S.J. Perelman (1904–1979)

At a time when pimpery, lick-spittlery, and picking the public’s pocket are the order of the day—indeed, officially proclaimed as virtue—the poet must play the madcap to keep his balance. And ours.
    Studs Terkel (b. 1912)

A great man quotes bravely, and will not draw on his invention when his memory serves him with a word as good. What he quotes, he fills with his own voice and humour, and the whole cyclopedia of his table-talk is presently believed to be his own.
    Ralph Waldo Emerson (1803–1882)

It is as acceptable now to love the wives of others as it is to smoke their cigars and read their books.
    Anton Pavlovich Chekhov (1860–1904)
