Perambalur has four cinema theatres where mostly Tamil film will be shown. There are some shops to purchase garments at reasonable prices. Periyar Children Park is situated in the Perambalur area. The municipality has planned to construct some fountain and public parks. Good restaurents and sweet shops are there to taste the regional cuisine.
