Route Description
PA 245 began at an intersection with U.S. Route 309 (now PA Route 873) in Slatington, then part of Northampton County. It headed eastward along Mountain View Drive (modern Main Street) and crossed the Lehigh River to enter Walnutport. Here, PA 245 intersected PA Route 145. Outside of Walnutport, PA 245 traversed Lehigh Township on a northeasterly alignment. The highway terminated at an intersection with PA Route 45 (now PA Route 248) in Berlinsville.
