Personal Life
Lipton married music industry mogul, Quincy Jones, on September 14, 1974; Jones and Lipton separated in 1986 and divorced in 1990. The couple have two daughters, Rashida and Kidada Jones.
In 2005 Lipton released her memoirs, Breathing Out, co-written by David and Coco Dalton. In the book Lipton revealed that she was diagnosed with colon cancer in 2004.
