Orndorff currently resides in Fayetteville, Georgia. He married his high school girlfriend Ronda Maxwell Orndorff. The couple have two grown sons, Paul Orndorff III and Travis Orndorff, as well as eight grandchildren.
On January 5, 2011, Paul Orndorff appeared on the Busted Open radio show on Sirius Satellite Radio and revealed that he had recently been diagnosed with cancer. On August 10, 2011, Orndorff announced that he was now cancer free.
