Paul Konerko
Paul Henry Konerko ( /kəˈnɛərkoʊ/; born March 5, 1976) is an American professional baseball first baseman who has played for the Chicago White Sox since 1999. He previously played with the Los Angeles Dodgers (1997–98) and the Cincinnati Reds (1998). Konerko helped the White Sox win the 2005 World Series, the franchise's first since 1917. Since 2006, he has served as their team captain.
