Milk-mother's Alms-giving
Buddhists believe that goddess Pattini spreads viral diseases like chickenpox and measles and when a family member is infected, they hold a hold Dānas (alms-givings) to goddess Pattini, called Kiri-amma dāna (Milk-mother's alms-giving).
