Recent Years
In recent years Patricia Morison has devoted herself to painting — one of her early passions — and has had several showings in and around Los Angeles. She has never married. She has lived in the Park La Brea apartment complex in Los Angeles since 1961.
In December 2012 at age 97 or 98, Morison appeared on stage in an evening entitled Ladies of an Indeterminate Age at the Pantages Theatre in Los Angeles. Her co-stars were fellow veteran musical theatre stars Charlotte Rae, aged 86, and 89 year old Anne Jeffreys.

Famous quotes containing the word years:
“Not so many years ago there there was no simpler or more intelligible notion than that of going on a journey. Travel—movement through space—provided the universal metaphor for change.... One of the subtle confusions—perhaps one of the secret terrors—of modern life is that we have lost this refuge. No longer do we move through space as we once did.”
—Daniel J. Boorstin (b. 1914)
“So here I am, in the middle way, having had twenty years—
Twenty years largely wasted, the years of l’entre deux guerres—
Trying to learn to use words, and every attempt
Is a wholly new start, and a different kind of failure....”
—T.S. (Thomas Stearns)
