Passing (juggling) - Records

Records

As for solo juggling, world records for passing are kept. The rules generally require that two-count passing be used, and that the number of successful catches be four times the number of props, in order for a passing attempt to be successful. Current world records are as follows:

  • 13 clubs: 26 passes caught, by Wes Peden and Patrik Elmnert in 2009
  • 12 clubs: 76 passes caught, by Manuel Mitasch and Christoph Mitasch in 2008
  • 11 clubs: 237 passes caught, by Manuel Mitasch and Christoph Mitasch in 2010
  • 10 clubs: >600 passes caught, by Manuel Mitasch and Christoph Mitasch in 2008
  • 9 clubs: 1392 passes caught, by Manuel Mitasch and Christoph Mitasch in 2007

Famous quotes containing the word records:

Although crowds gathered once if she but showed her face,
And even old men’s eyes grew dim, this hand alone,
Like some last courtier at a gypsy camping-place
Babbling of fallen majesty, records what’s gone.
    William Butler Yeats (1865–1939)

It’s always the generals with the bloodiest records who are the first to shout what a hell it is. And it’s always the war widows who lead the Memorial Day parades.
    Paddy Chayefsky (1923–1981)

Philosophy, astronomy, and politics were marked at zero, I remember. Botany variable, geology profound as regards the mud stains from any region within fifty miles of town, chemistry eccentric, anatomy unsystematic, sensational literature and crime records unique, violin player, boxer, swordsman, lawyer, and self-poisoner by cocaine and tobacco.
    Sir Arthur Conan Doyle (1859–1930)
