Parrot Cay

Parrot Cay is a private island, part of Turks and Caicos Islands. Parrot Cay is part of the COMO Hotels and Resorts. The island features a high-end beach resort, which over the years has seen many visits by celebrities such as Hugh Jackman and Michael J Fox and many more. The island has several private houses owned by Christie Brinkley, Keith Richards, Bruce Willis, Donna Karan, Robert Earl, William Pike (telephone tycoon), Robert Haas (Dallas based investment banker), Nigel Morris (founder of Capital One Bank), and a Swiss clothing tycoon. All private homes on the island cannot be purchased for less than 10 million dollars. It is located near Pine Cay, Dellis Cay and North Caicos. Other islands include Salt Cay, the most southernly of the atoll. Initially, it was called Pirate Cay, but was changed so as not to frighten visitors.

Parrot Cay can only be accessed by boat provided by the island, the boat ride over costs roughly 550 U.S. dollars.

One night on the island will cost you anywhere from 1000 U.S. dollars to 25,000 US dollars. Parrot Cay is often regarded as the nicest hotel in the Caribbean and one of the nicest in the world.
