Pajama Party (film) - Production Notes

Production Notes

This was the first movie Louis M Heyward worked on for AIP. He wrote the script in two weeks, saying he tried to do it as a cartoon "and if you look at it, it's done almost in cartoon cuts, in four-strips." Heyward went on to write several other films for the studio, and became a leading executive for them.

Filming started on 10 August 1964.

Famous quotes containing the words production and/or notes:

Constant revolutionizing of production ... distinguish the bourgeois epoch from all earlier ones. All fixed, fast-frozen relations, with their train of ancient and venerable prejudices are swept away, all new-formed ones become antiquated before they can ossify. All that is solid melts into air, all that is holy is profaned, and man is at last compelled to face with sober senses, his real conditions of life, and his relations with his kind.
    Karl Marx (1818–1883)

    The night is itself sleep
And what goes on in it, the naming of the wind,
Our notes to each other, always repeated, always the same.
    John Ashbery (b. 1927)
