Over The Edge Vol. 2: Pastor Dick: Muriel's Purse Fund
Pastor Dick: Muriel's Purse Fund was the second volume in the Over the Edge series, which distills the best moments from Negativland's radio program Over the Edge, broadcast on KPFA. This album was edited together from several different broadcasts recorded between 1982 and 1986.
Originally released in 1989 by SST Records on cassette only, it was re-released in 1996 by Negativland's own label, Seeland Records, as a CD with a new edit to make room for additional recorded material (while excising about 12 minutes of extraneous material), and includes a tract-like booklet titled Pastor Dick's Flagship Faith Vol. 17 #1, and an offering envelope.

“School success is not predicted by a childs fund of facts or a precocious ability to read as much as by emotional and social measures; being self-assured and interested: knowing what kind of behavior is expected and how to rein in the impulse to misbehave; being able to wait, to follow directions, and to turn to teachers for help; and expressing needs while getting along with other children.”
