Famous quotes containing the word related:

So-called “austerity,” the stoic injunction, is the path towards universal destruction. It is the old, the fatal, competitive path. “Pull in your belt” is a slogan closely related to “gird up your loins,” or the guns-butter metaphor.
    Wyndham Lewis (1882–1957)

The content of a thought depends on its external relations; on the way that the thought is related to the world, not on the way that it is related to other thoughts.
    Jerry Alan Fodor (b. 1935)

We will die, but our hostages are the divine captives who will follow our chance. And death with them is somewhat less bitter, less inglorious, perhaps less probable.
    Marcel Proust (1871–1922)
