Ottawa Macdonald-Cartier International Airport - Transit

Transit

OC Transpo bus route 97 provides frequent express service to downtown along a dedicated transitway with connections to the O-Train and other bus stations. Ottawa City Council had several proposals tabled that include a light rail link to the airport, however at the moment there are no immediate plans for an O-Train link. Airport limos and shuttle buses are also available, and there are several rental car agencies located at the airport.

Famous quotes containing the word transit:

My esoteric doctrine, is that if you entertain any doubt, it is safest to take the unpopular side in the first instance. Transit from the unpopular, is easy ... but from the popular to the unpopular is so steep and rugged that it is impossible to maintain it.
William Lamb Melbourne, 2nd Viscount (1779–1848)

We only seem to learn from Life that Life doesn’t matter so much as it seemed to do—it’s not so burningly important, after all, what happens. We crawl, like blinking sea-creatures, out of the Ocean onto a spur of rock, we creep over the promontory bewildered and dazzled and hurting ourselves, then we drop in the ocean on the other side: and the little transit doesn’t matter so much.
    —D.H. (David Herbert)

There’s that popular misconception of man as something between a brute and an angel. Actually man is in transit between brute and God.
    Norman Mailer (b. 1923)
