Alumni
Oregon State University has been the tertiary institution for numerous national and internationally-famous alumni who have contributed significantly to their respective professions. From over 200,000 alumni who have graduated from the university, OSU considers scientist and peace activist, Linus Pauling, the most famous. Pauling is the only recipient of two unshared Nobel Prizes that were awarded in the fields of chemistry and peace.
