The company has launched several environmental initiatives as a way to offset corporations’ impact on the environment. One Workplace works with their customers to recycle, refurbish, and reuse office furniture and electronic equipment. Some of the furniture that they sell has been certified by third-party organizations to be environmentally friendly.
One Workplace offers products that have been certified by SCS Global Services (SCS Indoor Advantage and SCS Indoor Advantage Gold) and the McDonough Braungart Design Chemistry (Cradle to Cradle) Another sustainability initiative at One Workplace is to help customers achieve Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) status. Buildings with this certification are recognized as practicing sound environmental practices. One Workplace has employees on staff who are LEED accredited and who can help customers reach this goal.
