Illness and Death
He attended this office regularly till his health started failing. He was confined to his bungalow, where he suffered a heart attack. He was taken to the Lilavati Hospital, Mumbai, suffered a second heart attack and went into a coma from which he did not recover. He died on 21 February, aged 78.
