History

It is a team with one of the best hobbies in southeastern Mexico, have a championship and ten appearances in the play-offs of the Mexican League .

Their last playoff appearance was in 2012 when they were eliminated before the Veracruz Rojos del Aguila of losing the series in Centennial Park February 27, 4-1 after having been to 4 outs to tie the series 1-1.

They made their arrival in the Mexican League in 1975 and have had four names in the time it takes to participate in the summer circuit, and today are named Olmec, have also been called Banana, Cardinals and Ranchers, having played always in the Park Centennial February 27 .

His only championship has been in the campaign of 1993 with the immortal Juan Navarrete front. The ninth Tabasco has been identified for its role in the south and the great pitching that has held, highlighting the arms of Emigdio Lopez, Tabasco Cecilio Ruiz, Juan Jesus Alvarez, Jesus "Chito" Rios, Ricardo Osuna and Gaudencio Aguirre. His best gardeners have been Rusty Tillman, Oscar Zambrano Fentanes and Rosario, Arturo Bernal and Tabasco Carlos Sievers, both in the role of designated hitter and Mike Naggy right as their best pitcher of all time.
