Old Friends (1997 Simon and Garfunkel Album)

Old Friends is a CD box set of Simon and Garfunkel songs, released in 1997. The three-disc anthology collects most of the duo's best-known works, and also includes previously unreleased outtakes. Famous quotes containing the words friends and/or simon:

Have you noticed that only death arouses our emotions? How we love thee friends who have just passed away, right? How we admire those master who no longer speak, their mouths full of dirt. We them we are not obligated.
    Albert Camus (1913–1960)

Food=joy ... guilt ... anger ... pain ... nurturing ... friendship ... hatred ... the way you look and feel.... Food=everything you can imagine.
    Susan Powter, U.S. talk-show host. Food, p. 15, Simon & Schuster (1995)
