History
The OH 794 designation came into being in 1950, generally along the route that it currently follows. The only difference is that OH 794's eastern terminus was at a location slightly south of its current location along OH 72. In 1958, maps first showed the eastern terminus of OH 794 as being relocated to its present location at the intersection of OH 72 and Sparrow Road. No other changes of significance have taken place to the routing of OH 794.

Famous quotes containing the word history:
“Whenever we read the obscene stories, the voluptuous debaucheries, the cruel and torturous executions, the unrelenting vindictiveness, with which more than half the Bible is filled, it would be more consistent that we called it the word of a demon than the Word of God. It is a history of wickedness that has served to corrupt and brutalize mankind.”
—Thomas Paine (17371809)
“Its not the sentiments of men which make history but their actions.”
—Norman Mailer (b. 1923)
“Most events recorded in history are more remarkable than important, like eclipses of the sun and moon, by which all are attracted, but whose effects no one takes the trouble to calculate.”
—Henry David Thoreau (18171862)
