The Handbell Choir leads worship monthly and on special occasions. Both choirs are directed by Dr. Jerry Ulrich, and each rehearses on Wednesday night. Organ and piano accompianment is provided by Neil Thompson. All are welcome to participate in all aspects of music at OPC.

Famous quotes containing the word music:

And this shall be for music when no one else is near,
The fine song for singing, the rare song to hear!
That only I remember, that only you admire,
Of the broad road that stretches and the roadside fire.
    Robert Louis Stevenson (1850–1894)

Not to sink under being man and wife,
But get some color and music out of life?
    Robert Frost (1874–1963)

But the dark changed to red, and torches shone,
And deafening music shook the leaves; a troop
Shouldered a litter with a wounded man,
Or smote upon the string and to the sound
Sang of the beast that gave the fatal wound.
    William Butler Yeats (1865–1939)
