Athletics

The Oak Ridge Pioneers compete in interscholastic competition in Football, Flag Football(girls), Bowling, Track and Field, Soccer (Boys & Girls), Baseball, Basketball, Cross Country, Swimming, and Tennis. The school's basketball team was the state runner-up in 2010.

Oak Ridge High School has in the past been known for its track and field teams. Under the leadership of Hall of Fame Coaches Bill Stamper, and John Hemmer (retired), both programs have compiled a total of 114 championships(Metro Conference, District, Region, State). Under the current football coach, former NFL player and Florida Gator Elijah Williams, have had 3 consecutive winning seasons and a trip to the 2nd round of the FHSAA playoffs.
