NWA Women's World Tag Team Championship

The NWA Women's World Tag Team Championship was a women's professional wrestling tag team title sanctioned by the National Wrestling Alliance from the early 1950s through 1983. The championship became a World Wrestling Federation title in 1983 when the WWF, then a member of the NWA, withdrew from its membership within the NWA, bought the rights to the championship and continued using them.

Famous quotes containing the words women, world, tag and/or team:

If man knew how women pass the time when they are alone, they’d never marry.
    O. Henry [William Sydney Porter] (1862–1910)

A temple, you know, was anciently “an open place without a roof,” whose walls served merely to shut out the world and direct the mind toward heaven; but a modern meeting-house shuts out the heavens, while it crowds the world into still closer quarters.
    Henry David Thoreau (1817–1862)

I believe in the flesh and the appetites,
Seeing, hearing, feeling, are miracles, and each part and tag of me
    is a miracle.

Divine am I inside and out, and I make holy whatever I touch or am touch’d from,
The scent of these arm-pits aroma finer than prayer,
This head more than churches, bibles, and all the creeds.
    Walt Whitman (1819–1892)

Once a word is spoken, a team of four horse cannot retake it.
    Chinese proverb.
