Professional Career
During her career, she won 2 WTA singles titles and 16 in doubles. She won the silver medal at the 2005 Mediterranean Games by losing the final to compatriot Laura Pous Tió.
She won the singles title at the ITF $100,000 Allianz Cup held at Sofia, Bulgaria in 2008.
Llagostera Vives was the doubles champion at the 2009 WTA Tour Championships, playing with María José Martínez Sánchez. They defeated Serena and Venus Williams en route to a 7–6(0), 5–7, victory over top seeds Cara Black and Liezel Huber.
