Bikenibeu Paeniu (1956-), who served two terms as Prime Minister of Tuvalu, represented Nukulaelae in the Parliament of Tuvalu.

Reference is to 2006 election results contains gross errors. Correct results include- Iefata Paeniu had 21 votes while Luke Paeniu had 64 votes. Bikenibeu Paenius vote is correct.
