2011/2012 Season

Played 13; Won 7, Lost 6, vs Rebels 2-2 vs UEA 3-3 vs Southampton 2-0 vs Imperial 0-1

The Fall of 2011 saw the team blooding several new first years before heading to Norwich to compete in the National University Baseball Championship for the Drunken Cup. The Thieves started slowly but beat Southampton twice, including two Flajsner home runs in one game, to reach the final against UEA. They couldn't go all the way however, star of the semi final Flajsner's pitching not managing to keep the UEA bats in check early on. The bats were quiet as well as the game ended in a disappointing loss. The season was rounded off with a doubleheader in Norwich with Gordon Sheppard setting a record for getting picked off in a single Thieves season. Throughout the season, a legend of a young German powerhouse began to take form, with Super Hans soon becoming an integral part of the team's line up.
