Railroad in Film
The Northwestern Pacific Railroad was fetured in a few films, used from backgrounds to on-board filming. Most notably is Alfred Hitchcock's Shadow of a Doubt, which was filmed in downtown Santa Rosa, California in the summer of 1942, using the stone depot and railroad yard as a background.
