Accreditation
On August 15, 1996, NWACC announced that it had received its initial accreditation by The Higher Learning Commission The Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools North Central Association of Colleges and Schools
In February 2000, NWACC was granted continued accreditation for 10 years by The Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools.
In July 2006, NWACC was approved for the Academic Quality Improvement process of re-accreditation. AQIP infuses the principles and benefits of continuous improvement into the culture of colleges and universities by providing an alternative process through which an already-accredited institution can maintain its accreditation from The Higher Learning Commission.
