Northland College is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Universities.

One involves producing a monitoring report by December, outlining faculty credentials, to include official transcripts and appropriate certifications where applicable. The second requirement involves a focused visit during the 2014-2015 school year that will involve an assessment of student learning and institutional strategic planning, with a focus on student enrollment and college finances.
