Boundaries
Following the review by the Boundary Commission for England taking effect at the 2010 general election, the North Cornwall constituency shares the same area as the former North Cornwall district. Before 2010, it covered a larger area, including a number of wards from the former Restormel district (Edgcumbe North, Edgcumbe South, Gannel, Rialton, Rock, St Columb and St Enoder) and the town of Newquay, which have been transferred to the new St Austell and Newquay seat. The Stoke Climsland ward has been moved from South East Cornwall to North Cornwall.

Famous quotes containing the word boundaries:
“It is the story-tellers task to elicit sympathy and a measure of understanding for those who lie outside the boundaries of State approval.”
—Graham Greene (19041991)
“Not too many years ago, a childs experience was limited by how far he or she could ride a bicycle or by the physical boundaries that parents set. Today ... the real boundaries of a childs life are set more by the number of available cable channels and videotapes, by the simulated reality of videogames, by the number of megabytes of memory in the home computer. Now kids can go anywhere, as long as they stay inside the electronic bubble.”
—Richard Louv (20th century)
“Whereas the Greeks gave to will the boundaries of reason, we have come to put the wills impulse in the very center of reason, which has, as a result, become deadly.”
—Albert Camus (19131960)
