  • National Honor Society: The North Chicago High School NHS sponored a March 2011 program to raise money for the crisis in Japan after the 2011 Tōhoku earthquake and tsunami and Fukushima I nuclear accidents.
  • Cheerleading
  • Individual Events (Speech Team)
  • Concert Band / Marching Band: Hosts a few large concerts per year, sometimes with the district grade schools or with the professional Wilmett Community Band. Makes an annual visit to Northwestern University for professional critiquing
