No Secrets (girl Group) - Break-up

Break-up

At one point, Carly, Jade, Erin, and Jessica recorded a remake of Atomic Kitten's hit "Whole Again," excluding (and unbeknownst to) Angel. After singing the majority of leads in the band, Angel left the group to pursue a solo career, releasing the album Believe in Angels... Believe in Me in 2004. However, in 2006 Angel chose to retire from the entertainment industry and has since pursued an education. In June of 2009 she graduated magna cum laude from UCLA and is currently attending veterinary school. She will complete her graduate education in 2013. The four remaining members recorded and shot a video for the song "Once Upon Another Dream" for Disney's 2003 re-release of Sleeping Beauty. This single revived No secrets popularity and steered them into a good direction for succes. at on point, many rumors floated about a new member joining the girl group but, no official statements were ever made. Disagreements between members of the group led to the eventual break-up of No Secrets in early 2005.After this, Jessica Fried took on a solo career, signing with Warner Brothers under the name Jessi Malay. Erin Tanner has adopted the stage name "Nicki Foxx" (sometimes just "Nicki") and is also working on solo material. In a 2007 interview, Fried commented on the break stating that the girls got along great but, due to one member's greedy parent actions, it ended up breaking the group apart.
