Stock Exchange
Companies in Australia listed on the ASX have a three-character symbol. NL companies may have more than one class of contributing shares. A typical set of symbols might be:
- XYZ - fully paid
- XYZCA - contributing shares class A
- XYZCB - contributing shares class B
The code does not distinguish between No Liability companies and ordinary companies, only the full company name does that.

Talk Californiaa state so blessed
He said, in climate, none had ever died there
A natural death, and Vigilance Committees
Had had to organize to stock the graveyards
And vindicate the states humanity.”
—Robert Frost (18741963)
“So long as the system of competition in the production and exchange of the means of life goes on, the degradation of the arts will go on; and if that system is to last for ever, then art is doomed, and will surely die; that is to say, civilization will die.”
—William Morris (18341896)
