Famous quotes containing the words mid, term and/or review:
“At the mid hour of night, when stars are weeping, I fly
To the lone vale we loved when life was warm in thine eye,”

“Dead drunk
is the term I think of,
insensible,
neither cool nor warm,
without a head or a foot.
To be drunk is to be intimate with a fool.”

“Our brains are no longer conditioned for reverence and awe. We cannot imagine a Second Coming that would not be cut down to size by the televised evening news, or a Last Judgment not subject to pages of holier-than-Thou second- guessing in The New York Review of Books.”
