Nightmare Creatures II - Plot

Plot

Taking place in 1934 London and Paris, players control Wallace, a captive in Adam Crowley's genetics hospital. Wallace carries an axe and wears bandages and a dark trench coat. Wallace escapes the hospital and seeks out Crowley, battling his monsters along the way. Gameplay is similar to the previous installment, seeing the adrenaline bar abandoned and the addition of fatality moves to execute weakened enemies. The game features licenced music from Rob Zombie in the cut scenes of the North American release. The in-game music was composed by the Nightmare Creatures composer, Frédéric Motte.

Famous quotes containing the word plot:

“The plot thickens,” he said, as I entered.
    Sir Arthur Conan Doyle (1859–1930)

We have defined a story as a narrative of events arranged in their time-sequence. A plot is also a narrative of events, the emphasis falling on causality. “The king died and then the queen died” is a story. “The king died, and then the queen died of grief” is a plot. The time sequence is preserved, but the sense of causality overshadows it.
    —E.M. (Edward Morgan)

The westward march has stopped, upon the final plains of the Pacific; and now the plot thickens ... with the change, the pause, the settlement, our people draw into closer groups, stand face to face, to know each other and be known.
    Woodrow Wilson (1856–1924)
