Night of the Creeps is a 1986 zombie horror film written and directed by Fred Dekker, starring Tom Atkins, Jason Lively, Steve Marshall and Jill Whitlow. The film is notable as an earnest attempt at a B movie and a homage to the genre. While the main plot of the film is related to zombies, the film also mixes in takes on slashers and alien invasion films. Since then the film has received a cult following, and today is considered as one of the best comedy horror films of the 1980s.

Famous quotes containing the words night and/or creeps:
“If Montaigne is a man in the prime of life sitting in his study on a warm morning and putting down the sum of his experience in his rich, sinewy prose, then Pascal is that same man lying awake in the small hours of the night when death seems very close and every thought is heightened by the apprehension that it may be his last.”
—Cyril Connolly (19031974)
“Squalor spreads its hideous length
through the carts and the asses feet,
squalor coils and reopens
and creeps under barrow
and heap of refuse....”
—Hilda Doolittle (18861961)
