Night of Destruction

The six-CD box set Night of Destruction was a 2000 strictly limited copies compilation of the Stooges' rarest tracks issued by Revenge records in 1991.

In 2007 for the celebration of the issue of a new studio album by the original incarnation of the Stooges Night of Destruction box set was reissued.

Famous quotes containing the words night and/or destruction:

They threw off their clothes, and he gathered her to him, and found her, found the pure lambent reality of her for ever invisible flesh. Quenched, inhuman, his fingers upon her unrevealed nudity were the fingers of silence upon silence, the body of mysterious night upon the body of mysterious night, the night masculine and feminine, never to be seen with the eye, or known with the mind, only known as a palpable revelation of living otherness.
    —D.H. (David Herbert)

Innocence of Life and great Ability were the distinguishing Parts of his Character; the latter, he had often observed, had led to the Destruction of the former, and used frequently to lament that Great and Good had not the same Signification.
    Richard Steele (1672–1729)
