Simmons is the son of Israeli-American musician Gene Simmons from rock band Kiss and Canadian actress/model Shannon Tweed. He has a sister named Sophie who is three years younger. He attended Pitzer College in Claremont, California and graduated in 2011 with a degree in English Literature.
