Nick Mason's Fictitious Sports
Nick Mason's Fictitious Sports is the one-off album by Pink Floyd's drummer Nick Mason fronted The Fictitious Sports band. Released in May 1981 in the UK and US, this was Mason's first major work outside of Pink Floyd. However, the album is considered by many a Carla Bley album in all but name, since she wrote all the songs and co-produced it. It is sung by Robert Wyatt, except for the opening song.

Famous quotes containing the word fictitious:
“It is, indeed, at home that every man must be known by those who would make a just estimate either of his virtue or felicity; for smiles and embroidery are alike occasional, and the mind is often dressed for show in painted honour, and fictitious benevolence.”
—Samuel Johnson (17091784)
