Elephant and Other Carvings
High above the heads of tourists on the roof of the cave there appears to be several giant elephants. Based upon the scale of the tourists shown in the picture an immense amount of scaffolding must have been constructed to accomplish this sculpture/painting. The heads of the elephants, eyes, and trunks can all be clearly seen. Elephants of all sizes appear to be in both the caves and across the valley on the cliff face. Cows with a young calf are common groupings as well as elephants with humans.

Famous quotes containing the word elephant:
“to his eyes, Funnyface Or Elephant as yet
Mean nothing. His distinction between Me and Us
Is a matter of taste; his seasons are Dry and Wet;
He thinks as his mouth does.”
