New Zealand Huntaway - Appearance

Appearance

Huntaways are large, deep-chested dogs that generally weigh in the region of 18–30 kg (40-65 pounds). Their coats can vary in colour; colours include black, black and tan (usually) with some white or brindle. Their coats can also come in different textures; they can be smooth, rough, or grizzly and they are generally floppy eared. A huntaway’s height is usually about 50–60 cm (20-24 inches).

Famous quotes containing the word appearance:

I think I am one of those who can manage not to take on a completely different appearance under their own glance.
    Jean Rostand (1894–1977)

You speak of poverty and dependence. Who are poor and dependent? Who are rich and independent? When was it that men agreed to respect the appearance and not the reality?
    Henry David Thoreau (1817–1862)

Hence, the less government we have, the better,—the fewer laws, and the less confided power. The antidote to this abuse of formal Government, is, the influence of private character, the growth of the Individual; the appearance of the principal to supersede the proxy; the appearance of the wise man, of whom the existing government, is, it must be owned, but a shabby imitation.
    Ralph Waldo Emerson (1803–1882)
