In 2012, Sydney's Indigenous Social Justice Association (ISJA) president Ray Jackson has criticised the New South Wales Police's excessive use of force, Tasers and firearms calling it "too deadly", following the death of a Brazilian student who was tasered to death and the shooting and bashing of two unarmed Aboriginal teenagers.
