Route Description
New Jersey Route 184 begins at an interchange with Garden State Parkway (New Jersey Route 444) and County Route 501 at Interchange 129. The county route designation continues along the state designation. The highway heads eastward along King Georges Road, which turns to the north near Fords Park. Right after the split, Route 184 interchanges at a partial cloverleaf with U.S. Route 9. The highway continues eastward and intersects Laurel Street. The highway passes to the north of Hopelawn Park.
Route 184 continues, passing the local Ukrainian Cemetery, and intersecting with the southern terminus of County Route 655 (Florida Grove Road). Route 184 continues eastward, intersecting with Columbus Drive, which ends near a local reservoir. The highway continues eastward along Pfefiffer Boulevard until coming upon the interchange with New Jersey Route 440, where it splits to the north and the highway ends at an intersection with New Jersey Route 35 north of the Route 440 interchange.

Famous quotes containing the words route and/or description:
“A route differs from a road not only because it is solely intended for vehicles, but also because it is merely a line that connects one point with another. A route has no meaning in itself; its meaning derives entirely from the two points that it connects. A road is a tribute to space. Every stretch of road has meaning in itself and invites us to stop. A route is the triumphant devaluation of space, which thanks to it has been reduced to a mere obstacle to human movement and a waste of time.”
—Milan Kundera (b. 1929)
“It [Egypt] has more wonders in it than any other country in the world and provides more works that defy description than any other place.”
—Herodotus (c. 484424 B.C.)
